Disclaimer: Independent PSA Birth Certificate Information Website
PSA birth certificate operates as an independent online resource. We hold no formal ties to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), any government body in the Philippines, or any official PSA-affiliated service provider. No endorsement or official connection is implied or exists. Everything published here is shared strictly for general awareness and educational use.
This page tells you exactly who runs this website, what kind of content we publish, and where our information ends and official PSA guidance begins. If you use anything on this site to help with your birth certificate application, this is the page you should read first.
Who We Are and Why We Built This Site
We are a small group of Filipinos, not lawyers, not government employees, and not PSA partners. We built this site after going through the PSA application process ourselves and realizing how confusing the official information can be, particularly for OFWs applying from abroad or people who have never requested a civil registry document before.
Everything we publish is written in plain language, based on publicly available PSA sources, and aimed at one goal: helping ordinary Filipinos understand the procedure without needing to call a fixer or pay someone to explain it to them.
Our Independence from the PSA and the Philippine Government
This website has no connection, formal or informal, to the Philippine Statistics Authority, any Philippine government body, PSAHelpline, PSA Serbilis, eCert, or any entity authorized to process PSA documents. We are an entirely independent, privately operated information publisher.
When we use the words "PSA," "Philippine Statistics Authority," or related terms, we are using them the same way a journalist would to describe what the article is about. Those names belong to the Philippine government and its authorized partners. We make no claim to them.
What Our Content Actually Is
Every article, guide, FAQ, pricing table, and checklist on this site is written to inform, not to instruct, advise, or act as a substitute for official PSA communication. We do not write on behalf of the PSA, and nothing here carries the authority of an official government source.
Think of our content the way you would think of a well-researched newspaper article about a government service. It can help you understand the process, but the final word always comes from the agency itself.
Informational and Educational Use Only
Our content does not constitute official PSA guidance or documentation, legal or immigration advice of any kind, a guarantee of application success, delivery timing, or outcome, or a replacement for a qualified Philippine civil registry professional.
Before you submit any PSA application, verify the current fees, requirements, and steps directly through the official PSA channels.
A Note on Accuracy and How Fast Things Change
PSA fees, outlet locations, delivery partners, processing times, and application requirements are updated by the PSA periodically, sometimes without advance public notice. We monitor these changes and update our content as quickly as we can, but there will always be a gap between when the PSA changes something and when our page reflects it.
We make no guarantee that any specific figure, step, or requirement listed on this site is current on the exact day you read it. For anything time-sensitive, always call or check with the PSA directly:
What We Do Not Do
Some visitors land on this site expecting to order a birth certificate, track a delivery, or get help resolving an application issue directly with us. We want to be upfront: we cannot do any of those things, and we do not try to.
We Do Not Process PSA Applications
We do not accept requests to file, submit, follow up on, or expedite PSA applications. We do not accept any payment for document processing. We are not agents, representatives, or resellers of any PSA service.
If you encounter a website or individual offering to process your PSA birth certificate for significantly higher fees than the official rates, โฑ365 for door-to-door delivery or โฑ155 for walk-in treatment, treat that with serious caution. Always place orders only through psahelpline.ph or serbilis.psa.gov.ph.
We Do Not Collect or Store Your Personal Documents
You should not send us photocopies of your birth certificate, passport, government ID, or any sensitive personal document by email or any other channel. We have no system to handle personal documents securely, and doing so would expose your information to unnecessary risk.
Limitation of Liability
Our content is offered in good faith, but relying on it is your own decision. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the publishers, editors, writers, and contributors of this website shall not be held liable for any loss, harm, financial damage, missed deadline, rejected application, or delivery failure that results directly or indirectly from your use of or reliance on any information published here.
This is not a small-print attempt to avoid responsibility for poor content. It is an honest acknowledgment that civil registry procedures are ultimately controlled by the PSA, and no third-party information site can guarantee outcomes that depend on a government agency's processes.
Links to External Websites
Throughout our articles, we link to official government websites and authorized PSA service portals to help you get to the right place quickly. These outbound links are provided as a convenience.
We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content, availability, accuracy, or practices of any external website, including official government portals. Those sites operate independently of us, and their terms, policies, and service standards are entirely their own.
Your Role as a Reader
Using this website comes with a simple understanding on your part. By continuing to read and use our content, you acknowledge that you will cross-check important information fees, steps, requirements with the PSA before acting on it, that you use all content here at your own risk and judgment, that you will not share personal documents or sensitive data with us through any channel, and that if you spot something inaccurate or outdated, you will let us know so we can fix it.
We take corrections seriously. If something on our site is wrong, we want to know, and we will address it promptly.
